The nanx self commands manage the nanx installation itself - checking for updates,
updating to new versions, and more.
Update
Update nanx to the latest version:
nanx self update
# or shorthand
nanx self up Check for Updates
Check if a new version is available without installing:
nanx self update --check Status / Doctor
Show the current installation status and health check:
nanx self status
# or
nanx doctor This shows:
- Current installed version
- Installation path
- Latest available version
- System information
Rollback
Rollback to the previous version (if a backup exists from a previous update):
nanx self rollback Note: This only works if you've previously updated nanx and a backup
(nanx.old) exists in the installation directory.
Uninstall
Remove nanx from your system:
nanx self uninstall This will:
- Remove the nanx binary
- Remove any backup files
- Provide instructions for cleaning up PATH if needed
